Insert one pessary as deep in the vagina as possible in the evening before going to bed. The pessary is easier to insert if it is first moistened under running water. The use of a panty liner is recommended due to the high solubility of the pessaries, which can cause increased discharge.
The duration of administration is generally 5 – 7 days. Dr. Wolff’s V-san Lactic Acid can also be used two to three times a week over a longer period (one pessary in the evening).

In case of a bacterial vaginal infection with a ‘fishy’ smelling discharge that starts up again and again, especially after intercourse or menstruation, Dr Wolff's V-san Lactic Acid can help to prevent reoccurring infection by keeping the vaginal environment in the acidic range. Please note that Dr. Wolff's V-san Lactic Acid is not a treatment of bacterial infections.
Can I use Dr Wolff's V-san Lactic Acid during menstration? It is not beneficial to use Dr Wolff's V-san Lactic Acid during your period. Start using Dr Wolff's V-san Lactic Acid after your period has ended or, if you already started using it, temporarily discontinue use and start again after the end of your period.
